A Japanese translation of "Across Many Mountains" officially debuted at an intimate event in Tokyo. Written by Yangzom Brauen, the poignant memoir chronicles the epic journey of three generations of Tibetan women surviving the Chinese invasion and enduring life in exile. Moved by the powerful narrative, Chitose Mauer Hayakawa translated the book to share Tibet's struggle with the Japanese public. During the launch at Tashi Delek restaurant, Tibet House Japan Representative Dr. Tsewang Gyalpo Arya highlighted the ongoing Tibetan exile administration. The author and her mother also delivered a heartfelt video message to attendees.
