Former CTA Minister Tsering Dhondup passes away at 65 in Dharamshala

DHARAMSHALA, Sept. 8: Former Minister of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), Tsering Dhondup Yangdhar, passed away at his residence in Dharamshala on the morning of September 7, following a prolonged illness. He was 65.

The late minister, who held the Finance portfolio in both the 13th (2007–2011) and 14th (2011–2016) Kashag (Cabinet), also briefly served as Minister of the Department of Security in 2016. A prayer service in his honor was held on Monday afternoon, attended by the leadership and staff of the CTA.
