Dharamshala — Tsering Choephel has been elected as the new president of the Tibetan Youth Congress (TYC), securing 70 votes during the organisation’s 19th General Body Meeting held in Dharamshala. Choephel, who previously served as the joint secretary of the organisation, will now take on the leadership role alongside Tashi Targyal, who was re-elected as vice president for a second consecutive term with 74 votes.
